MOVING

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH is all I can say at this point. I am one crazy lady. we have 7 days left here in Colorado and 4 of them I am working. one day we have the girls birthday parties the other 2 leaves me packing with 3 kids. But we are ready to be a family and Acen is ready to have a guy in the house again. Mom doing all theboy-scout things has not been his type of fun.

Irelynn has manged the art of undressing. This is fine till we do it with a poopy diaper. So not looking forward to that day. Today she was so proud of herself when I went to get her out of the crib! Holding her pjs and standing all on her own.

I am not sure were this year has gone, I was just thinking that this weekend last year I was in labor and Justin and I were doing a mad rush to the hospital..... just in time for them to get 5 big contractions, call the Dr to do the c-section, but by the time that happened she was happy again and labor had stopped. We had to wait a whole week longer for her!

Summer is over..... tear ;(

The pool has closed down for yet another year :(  What will I do with my kids for the next few weeks while it is still very warm out? I find myself in this same spot at the end of every summer. We live at the pool just about every day from openish till the HOA board is kicking me out of the hot tub every night. For our family the hot tub is were family meeting happen. Dad is talked into new cars for Andrew and I. If you are in need of money the best place to ask is in the hot tub. My kids have learned if you want a sleep over wait till mom is relaxing in the hot tub. I look at it as carring on a bit of the Schmohr in me. (Justin is not a hot tub kinda guy)

Callia has managed to loose her two front teeth. She now talks with a lisp and no one can understand her. She loves it, due to the fact that she has to repeat everything 10 times and loves hearing herself talk. oh and in case anyone is counting that is 6 she has lost so far. she is counting all her money the tooth fairy bring her and will bring her. Our tooth fairy brings 2 dollars for the 1st tooth and a dollar after that., However callia thinks that the back teeth should be worth more because they are bigger. Tooth fairy does not agree, she does have 3 kids in this house to look after and she is on a budget.

Irelynn started standing on her own this week! We are so proud of her, however I will yell at her so she does not do it for too long and falls. Justin really wants to be around for her 1st step and I am hoping it will happen in 6 weeks when he can get here for the girls birthdays. I know that most dads miss the 1st steps but usually they are in the same state as the kid. I really am not asking for too much here.

With summer ending... in our family that does not mean fall is here It means HOCKEY SEASON is here!!! Acen is all geared up and waiting for it to start. This year will be his last year as an 8and under.. He will age up to the big kid and travel next year. Not sure how I feel about that, however i am very excited that this year moms and dads are not allowed into the locker room!! score for me!!! Hockey gear+Callia+baby=One unhappy mom.

At work we have a very soft fabric called Sherpa, my girls are crazy for sherpa. we have pillows and blankets and chairs all made of this stuff. We have so much because it was causing fighting between callia and Irelynn (who has a bit of a temper). Everyone now has her own and my house can go back to somewhat peaceful.

Pic to come as soon as my computer and internet agree with me!

Irelynns 6 month pics!!!

Here are a few of my favs from her big 6 month session!!! If you wan to see/ order some we have them up on snapfish and i can give you my log on and password. just ask!

First day of school!!!

Acen and Callia started school today. Acen is in 3rd grade and callia in 2nd. I am starting to feel very old when people ask what grade my kids are in. They had to get up very early this year as they stated a new school due to the school they were at last year being closed. They now attend Lukas and seem to really like it so far, other then it starting a whole hour earlier. Oh and i happened to point out that they were almost wearing the same shirt and was that a big mistake. Callia after having 6 different outfits on already had to change again and was not happy with me when she ran out of time to change once again.

Callia's day went pretty smooth. she got to meet the nurse. She lost her front tooth!! however we are now down to 5 front teeth and all our words have a slight lisp to them and according to her she can only eat ice cream and white noodles (that just happens to be a top on her dinner list). Then after school she bumped her top lip and now has no teeth and a fat lip. We now look like a hill billy with missing teeth. Only my child could go to a new school on the first day and come back for the second looking like I hit her.

Acen's day went great. He is in the same class with his best friend, Meghan. They have been in that same class every year and even before that in daycare. If you ask her they are boyfriend and girlfriend, but don't let Acen know she says that. He is a bit upset that he came home with homework on the first day, I have a hard time with this seeing as it was me who had to fill out the paper and sign it.

Irelynn turned 10 months this last week. We are still wearing our 3-6 month clothing and mom is getting rather tired of the same things over and over. I am the last person who would have guessed that she would have stayed so small. In the last few days her two bottom teeth have come all the way in and she can use them to her advantage. Word of advice watch your nose, she will go after it. I have tried and tried to get some pics but its just not going to happen.

During this whole process of getting the house ready to be put up for sale. I have become a master painter and electrician. Best part is everything works when i get done with it! I have learned a lot of tricks and my next one will be resurfacing a bath tub. Just call me Mrs. Fix-it.

Justin found an apartment last weekend. It is a small one bedroom in Odessa but for him it works and he can have a home cooked meal. He got some what set up and had to leave to the field 2 days later. Its a bit strange living apart and not knowing what his place looks like. We are planning on seeing him again for the girls birthday in October!! The kids and I can not wait!!!

The Kids are home!!

Acen and Callia got home from Carpinteria Ca. They got to fly all alone for the first time and now never want mom to fly with them. I was in tears when I got them they just acted so big and did just great on the plane. They just cant be old enough to fly alone.

Acen has decided that airplane rides makes your hair really soft. He would like to know why this is. he also came back with some great stories and I have a feeling he had some fun with his uncle Andrew. That is all he talks about!! While on the beach he had a wonderful time boogie boarding next year I have a feeling he will be out surfing.

Callia came back telling me all the names she called Andrew and how mean his dog was. She too got on the boogie board but had a major wipe out as she tells it and has sand in her ears still! but after a few tears and trys she was riding like a pro!

The kids all had matching Texas outfits from daddy and they had to wear them today.

Still Here

So here we are still in Colorado. Justin has been living out of a hotel for about the past 8 weeks and is hating every day he is in the very small walls of room 310. I visited him with the baby last week and was house hunting, 58 different apartment complexes and over 12 houses and we just cant find anything. We have changed our plans and the kids and I will stay here in Colorado and Justin living in Texas. We are shooting for Christmas.
While in Midland I tracked down our house that I lived in way back in 1986. Looks about the same but with lots of trees. It seems that over the years they added a pool, the pool guys were there giving me strange looks as I took pics.

Acen and Callia have been in Carpinteria for the past few weeks with my parents and brother. Andrew got a new puppy this summer, a black lab and Acen has fallen in love with him. He was plotting how to bring him home in his back pack, mom put an end to that very fast. maybe once we have a nice size house and a huge back yard we can help him with his dream of having a black lab. Callia was telling me how she swam with a seal that was about 6 feet away from her. According to her it was a boy seal because it was gray. When I asked her what color a girl seal was she said not gray. 6 feet is friend making distance, good thing she did not want to plot how to bring him home.

Irelynn has started to use her walker she has. Its in the shape of a stroller so in walking around the house she gathers her toys in the stroller part. When its full she just runs laps around the house. I took her today to get her first pair of walker shoes she (really me) picked out some nice broght silver ones with rainbow colors. She likes them so much they make a great sound when she stomps her feet on the floor. Her new thing this week is barking at the dog, and her aunts dog. she will stand at the glass door and bark along with the dog, however today she was a little upset with him when he wanted her little clip animal that she is in love with.
Irelynns daddy got her some texas gear, I had her in it one day and everyone was asking how old my little boy was, so I will have to add something more to the outfit to make it a bit more for a girl.

we are a bit upset with the dog here and will not look at mom. Her and torch are in a major fight here. She even pushed him off the stairs. What a temper she has and everything she does makes my mom think of me this has given me some major gray hairs.
